Planning your stay at Bay View on the Boardwalk? Here are answers to common questions about reservations, amenities, parking, and resort policies. Bay View’s current FAQ covers check-in and check-out times, age requirements, deposits, cancellation terms, amenities, parking, and other stay details.

Reservations & Check-In

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.

How old do I need to be to stay at Bay View?

Guests must be 25 or older to check in, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

What is due when I book?

A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is due at the time of booking.

Do I need a credit card at check-in?

Yes. Please bring the credit card used to make the reservation and a matching ID at check-in. If that card is no longer available, a valid replacement card may be used.

Can I pay in cash?

No. For security purposes, we accept credit cards only.

Can I make payments before I arrive?

Instead of a refundable deposit, you can choose a non-refundable Worry-Free Vacation Fee of $49.99 plus tax. This covers accidental damage during your stay.

Is a security deposit required?

Yes. A $100 refundable security deposit is required at check-in. You may also choose the non-refundable Worry-Free Vacation option for $49.99 plus tax. Both cover accidental damage during your stay.

Can I check in early or check out late?

No. We accept credit cards only.

How do I change my reservation?

If you booked directly with Bay View, please contact the reservations team. If you booked through a third-party site, you’ll need to make changes through that provider.

What taxes and fees should I expect?

Room rates are subject to a 13% tax, and the resort fee includes access to resort amenities.

Cancellations & Policies

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel 14+ days before arrival for a full refund. Within 14 days, your deposit can be applied to a future stay within one year. Reallocated deposits are non-refundable, and early departures are not refunded.

What is the Vacation Protection Plan?

Vacation Protection is an optional, non-refundable add-on available at booking. If selected, it allows you to cancel up to 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and receive a full refund of your advance deposit.

What happens if there is a hurricane?

If a mandatory evacuation is issued by the Governor, guests receive a full refund. If there is no evacuation, the advance deposit may be moved to a future stay within one year.

Is Bay View smoke-free?

Yes. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, on balconies, or in common areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

What is the Do Not Disturb policy?

For guest safety, the resort may check on a room if a Do Not Disturb sign remains in place for an extended time and staff are unable to reach the guest. Rooms may also be entered for maintenance, repairs, or safety concerns.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not permitted at Bay View.

Rooms & In-Room Amenities

What is included in my room?

All rooms include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and an in-room safe. Standard rooms also include a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

Do all rooms have full kitchens?

No. Standard rooms include a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Units with a galley or full kitchen include a full-size refrigerator, stove or oven, sink, microwave, dishes, cups, utensils, pots, and pans.

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes. Linens and bath towels are provided.

Do any units include a washer and dryer?

Yes. Washer and dryer units are included in 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom condos.

Do any rooms have jetted tubs?

No. Jetted tubs are not available in guest rooms.

What supplies are provided in my unit?

Starter supplies include toilet paper, soap bars, bath towels, travel-size dish soap, and paper towels. Laundry detergent is not provided.

Resort Amenities

What water amenities are available?

Bay View offers a pool, kiddie pool, lazy river, two hot tubs, and an outdoor lounge pool.

Are any of the water features heated?

Yes. All indoor water features are heated.

What other amenities does the resort offer?

Additional amenities include an exercise room, shuffleboard, and an outdoor fire pit.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

What are the pool hours?

Pool hours are 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Are pool towels provided?

Starter supplies include toilet paper, soap bars, bath towels, travel-size dish soap, and paper towels. Laundry detergent is not provided.

Is housekeeping provided every day?

Limited daily housekeeping is available and includes trash removal and fresh towels.

Is there food or drink available on site?

Yes. Bay View offers an on-site Starbucks and the seasonal Boozy Buoy Poolside Tiki Bar. Room service is not available.

Do you offer accessible rooms?

Yes. Some 2 Bedroom Oceanfront Condo (F) units offer roll-in showers and wider doorways, though requests cannot be guaranteed. All units can accommodate a standard wheelchair.

Parking & Transportation

Is parking included?

Yes. Free parking is available in the garage across the street from the resort.

How many parking passes will I receive?

Standard Rooms, Efficiencies, One-Bedroom Suites, and One-Bedroom Condos receive one parking pass. Two-, Three-, and Four-Bedroom Condos receive two.

What is the parking garage height clearance?

Additional amenities include an exercise room, shuffleboard, and an outdoor fire pit.

Are motorcycles or trailers allowed?

Yes. Motorcycles and open trailers are allowed. Open trailers must be parked above the 5th floor, and motorcycles must be parked on the 1st floor of the garage. Enclosed trailers are not permitted.

Do you offer shuttle service?

No. Bay View does not offer shuttle service to the airport or local attractions.

How far is the resort from the airport?

Myrtle Beach International Airport is about 3.3 miles away, or roughly a 10-minute drive.

Beach & Local Area

Is Bay View on the beach?

Yes. Bay View is oceanfront on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.

Can I rent beach chairs and umbrellas?

Yes. Rentals are available through John’s Beach Services and may be arranged with the lifeguard on the beach. Pricing varies by rental length.

Does the resort provide breakfast?

No. Breakfast is not offered on site.

Are Pack and Plays available?

Yes. Pack and Plays are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are rollaway beds available?

No. Rollaway beds are not available.

Can I grill at the resort or on the beach?

No. Grills are not permitted at the resort or on the beach.
